Adley's Birth

A warm summer day birth, posterior baby that made mom work to get her out. Was wanting to give birth in the pool but ended up on the bathroom floor instead. Surprise baby girl after 3 boys!

In pregnancy, birth and postpartum it’s your right to feel comfortable and well-supported. It’s your right to know all your choices and be given autonomy over your body & your baby. The provider you choose during this time should really see you, respect you and treat you with the utmost care. Which is why my family chose Cara to walk this beautiful path with us for two of our children.

During both of my births Cara was always respectful of what I truly wanted, held me when I needed to be held , always had the perfect words when I needed to hear them and lastly created a space for me to show up just as I was and how I needed to be- with no expectations or guidelines. She is a true midwife and birth keeper! Cara is a radiant light in this world and I wish every woman could experience the love and attention she gives each client during this sacred journey.

When we moved out of state and got pregnant with our fourth baby I couldn’t imagine anyone else but Cara being my midwife so she traveled 11 hours one way just to be with me ! The bond we created is incredibly deep and she wasn’t just my midwife but instead has become part of my family. I’m eternally grateful for her level of skill and presence at my two births. Memories I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
